Stay Sharp, Don’t Get Lazy

Regularly inspect, sharpen or replace treble hooks. It’s no fun to loose fish for “no good reason.” Dull hooks are typically the culprit.

As you are prepping for the next adventure or tournament be sure to pay close attention to the treble hooks on your crankbaits and topwater plugs. By inspecting, repairing or replacing them now, you can find the right hook for your preferred fishing presentation. Most factory hooks are too light and rust very quickly rendering them useless. Don’t be the guy who looses more fish than anyone else because of neglected hooks.
