Many anglers ask me why you need to use such heavy tackle when frog fishing and this video give you a good look at why.

Many anglers ask me why you need to use such heavy tackle when frog fishing, well as you can see in this video, heavy braided line and a stout rod are a must to get that bass into the boat, especially if they hit next to shore on the other side of a grass bed.  My froggin tackle includes a Wright & McGill Tessera Frog Rod, with a Victory Pro Carbon Reel spooled up with 65 lb Seaguar Smackdown braided line.
